How it works
One loop, built for depth.
An expert trains the memory once, Arkia carries it, and you practice on your own schedule while the system learns what to teach you next. It is made for advanced learners who want real depth rather than streaks and badges.
Expert trains
An expert records lessons and corrections once. They become the corpus.
Arkia channels
The persona model and cloned voice carry their method through the shell.
Student practices
Speak or type at any hour and get their corrections in context.
Telemetry feeds back
Every attempt updates the mastery map and sharpens what comes next.
↺ telemetry returns to the memory, so the next answer lands better
Calibrate in five minutes
You start with a short adaptive assessment so the system can find where your English actually sits, so the expert’s method picks up at the right point rather than running you through a generic placement test.
Practice with the expert
You speak or type, and the expert’s voice and judgment respond in real time through Arkia. The corrections, examples and follow-up questions are the ones they would give, because the persona model is built on their own teaching.
Watch your map grow
Every session updates a personal mastery map per skill, so the friction surfaces, the wins compound, and you always know what to work on next rather than guessing.
The measure that matters
Time to mastery, cut by at least half.
We hold ourselves to one number. The time it takes you to reach mastery on a standardized post-test should fall by at least fifty percent against a linear course taught by the same expert. We measure it because that is the honest test of whether adaptation and correction in context are doing real work, and the whole system is instrumented to track it per skill.
Why it gets better
The advantage compounds with every cohort.
What makes ArkiaMate defensible is the data it accumulates over time. Each cohort generates telemetry on where learners trip and what unblocks them, and that telemetry sharpens both the routing and the persona, so the next cohort moves through the same material faster. A competitor can copy an interface in a quarter, yet they cannot copy years of an expert’s corrections and a routing model trained on them.
The longer the system teaches, the better it teaches, which is the kind of lead that widens on its own once it exists.
Pricing
Three ways to learn from an expert.
The pricing sits well below a private coach while going much deeper than a generic app, since you are practicing with one specific teacher’s method grounded in their own work.

I cut my IELTS prep time roughly in half, and the way it corrects is unmistakably my teacher’s. It really feels like a real mentor.

I had worked with three online coaches before this, and none of them corrected the way my teacher does. Now I have that on demand.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
It goes further than that. The persona model is built on the expert’s own teaching, the retrieval is grounded in their corpus and scoped to them, and the voice is a clone of theirs. So the corrections, examples and progressions you receive are the ones they would give, and the voice that delivers them is theirs rather than a generic narrator on a generic model.
Their method is encoded in a system prompt that runs on the server, and the retrieval only ever reaches material filtered by their expert id, so the model cannot wander into another teacher’s content. There is also an in-character refuse-list and an output filter that keep it on topic and stop it from leaking its instructions, even when someone asks for them directly, and those guardrails are unit tested.
It is built for advanced learners, roughly B2 and above, who want depth instead of gamification. That tends to be professionals refining nuance, preparing for IELTS, or sharpening business communication. If you have outgrown the mass-market apps but a private coach is hard to sustain, this is the gap it fills.
Time to mastery on a standardized post-test, compared against a linear course taught by the same expert. The target is a reduction of at least half, and the system is instrumented per skill so the number is something we can actually read rather than a slogan. We track it because it is the honest test of whether the adaptation is doing real work.
Yes, on the higher tiers. Inner Circle at $399 a month includes a monthly one-on-one with the teacher, and Practice at $199 includes two live group sessions a month. The Method tier at $99 is the digital memory on its own, with no live time, which is why it costs less.
Yes. There is a seven-day free trial with no card required to start, and you can cancel in a couple of clicks from the dashboard. You can also pause your subscription for one to three months without losing your progress, so a busy stretch does not cost you your place.
No. Your conversations stay private to your account, and we do not sell your data or train third-party models on your sessions. We do use aggregated and anonymized telemetry, such as where learners commonly trip, to improve the routing and the engine, since that is what makes each cohort move faster than the last.
